My name is Jim Gogov. In 1977, I graduated as a Cabinet Maker from the Technical College of Wood Processing and Interior Decoration, Sofia, Bulgaria. My further specialization in the polyester polishing was with the largest furniture manufacturer “Moscow”.

In 1980 I arrived in Australia and for the next ten years I was exploring many other varied business opportunities. In 1990 I was approached by a piano technician about piano restorations. Soon many other pianos came my way. A workshop  followed together by a steady flow of orders from local piano technicians. Smaller piano shops also started using my services and in a few years I was working extensively with Brash’s Music.

Since those early days whether it be in my customer’s home, in a client’s shop or warehouse or at my workshop, I have continued to provide my services to the majority of music stores, renowned music schools and concert venues.

I am one man operation, just like the majority of piano service providers.  I am the person who inspects, quotes, carries out the work and then handles the administrative requirements.  Sometimes labour intensive projects take time and patience to be carried out to a point of completion.
